3. In section 25 of the Local Government Act 1988 (consent required for provision of financial assistance etc)(1), in subsection (2)(f), at the end of sub-paragraph (iii) insert—
“or
(iv)article 3 of the Regulatory Reform (Housing Assistance) (England and Wales) Order 2002 (power of local housing authorities to provide assistance)”.
