This Order increases the monetary limits specified in sections 20(3) and (8) and 21(2)(b) and (e) of the Gaming Act 1968 (c. 65) and described by articles 2 and 3 of this Order. The effect of this Order is to increase—
(a)the maximum added weekly prize money for bingo games played in any one club from £10,000 to £20,000;
(b)the aggregate weekly prize in linked bingo games played in any club from £55,000 to £500,000;
(c)the total take, and total prizes, in prize bingo games, as played in bingo clubs from £120 to £500.
