Calculation of contribution
23.—(1) An eligible student’s contribution in respect of an academic year, if any, shall be the aggregate of his income for that year calculated in accordance with Part I of Schedule 3 and any contribution applicable in his case by virtue of Part II or III of that Schedule.
(2) For the purposes of the exercise of the Secretary of State’s functions under the Act and regulations made under it she shall require an eligible student to provide from time to time such information as she considers necessary as to the income of any person whose means are relevant to the assessment of his contribution.
