The Dual-Use Items (Export Control) Regulations 2000 ((S.I. 2000/2620) were made in implementation of and pursuant to Council Regulation (EC) No. 1334/2000 setting up a community regime for the control of exports of dual-use items and technology. (O.J. L 159, 30.06.00, p. 1.)
These Regulations add “Americium” to the list of prohibited materials, chemicals, micro-organisms & toxins under the Dual-Use Items (Export Control) Regulations 2000. They also add a new EC Council Regulation to the list of applicable Regulations applicable to export control.
