Modification of section 3(2) of the 1974 ActE+W+S
20. Section 3(2) of the 1974 Act shall be modified in relation to an activity involving the consignment, storage or use of any of the biological agents referred to in regulation 19 so as to have effect as if the reference therein to a self-employed person [F1who conducts an undertaking of a prescribed description] is a reference to any person who is not an employer or an employee and the reference therein to [F2the undertaking] includes a reference to such an activity.
