Treatment of foreign qualifications U.K.

5.—(1) The Registrar shall, in considering an application by an applicant who has a relevant unrecognised qualification but not a relevant recognised qualification, treat the applicant as having a recognised qualification upon being satisfied that he has reached the required standard of proficiency and F2 ... has a satisfactory command of the English language.

(2) The Registrar may F3 ... in considering an application by an applicant who has a relevant recognised qualification, before registering the applicant, require the applicant to satisfy him that he has a satisfactory command of the English language.
