(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order applies to—
(a)the whole of the City of Worcester;
(b)the A4440 road for the whole of its length within the Districts of Wychavon and Malvern Hills; and
(c)those parts of the Districts of Wychavon and Malvern Hills falling between the A4440 road and the boundary of the City of Worcester.
This Order does not apply to—
(a)the M5 motorway, together with all its on and off slip roads, for the whole of its length in the area to which this Order applies; and
(b)that part of the A449 road known as the Northern Link Road for the whole of its length in the area to which this Order applies.
This Order designates the area to which it applies as both a permitted parking area and a special parking area in accordance with Schedule 3 to the Road Traffic Act 1991. It also applies with modifications various provisions of Part II of that Act to the designated area and modifies the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in relation to the designated area.
