Coming into force

Whereas the Secretary of State has consulted the Electoral Commission in accordance with section 7(1) and (2)(e) of the Political Parties, Elections and Referendums Act 20001 about these Regulations;

And whereas a draft of these Regulations has been approved by resolution of each House of Parliament;

Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 201(1) and (3) of and rule 37(1F) of Schedule 1 to the Representation of the People Act 19832 hereby makes the following Regulations:
