The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 113 to 116 of the Police Act 19971, as extended by 26(3) of the Welsh Language Act 19932, and having regard to the meaning of “prescribed” in sections 113(1)(a), 114(1)(a), 115(1)(a) and 116(1)(a) of the Police Act 1997, hereby makes the following Regulations:
