Requirement to notify7

The adoption agency must notify a prospective adopter in writing as soon as possible after becoming aware that—
a
he is not eligible to adopt because he does not meet the requirements of regulation 4; or
b
he is not suitable to be an adoptive parent by virtue of regulation 6.

In a case to which paragraph (1)(b) applies the notification must specify the conviction, or as the case may be, the caution in question.
