Savings of, and amendments to, legislation39.

(1)

These Regulations are without prejudice to—

(a)

sections 58 to 60 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 M1 (appointment and dismissal of teachers in schools with a religious character etc); and

(b)

section 21 of the Education (Scotland) Act 1980 M2 (management of denominational schools).

(2)

Schedule 5 (amendments to legislation) shall have effect.
