(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations change some fees payable under the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Regulations 1985.
The fee for certification of a type vehicle (formerly £245) is cancelled.
The following fees are increased:

| Certification of a unit of transport equipment which has been tested | £50 | (1992) | £60 |
| Testing a unit of transport equipment as a type vehicle and inspecting arrangements for ensuring conformity of production | £850 | (1992) | £925 |
| Inspection of one unit of equipment at the testing station | £80 | (1995) | £90 |
| Inspection of up to three units of equipment together at a place other than the testing station | £240 | (1995) | £350 |
The other fees payable under the 1985 Regulations, as amended by the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs (Amendment) Regulations 1992, 1995 and 1996, are unchanged.
