Avoidance of duplication of requirements12

To the extent to which a requirement imposed on a terminal operator, a master, or a terminal representative under these Regulations is also a requirement imposed on that person under any of the Regulations referred to in paragraph (2), the requirement imposed by these Regulations (that is to say, the Merchant Shipping (Safe Loading and Unloading of Bulk Carriers) Regulation 2003) shall not apply.
