The Burma (Sale, Supply and Export of Goods) (Penalties) (Amendment) Regulations 2003 make two changes to the principal Regulations. These changes reflect amendments to Council Regulation (EC) No 1081/2000 on Burma sanctions, by Council Regulation (EC) No 1211/2003:
(a)Article 2(2) makes it an offence to contravene the prohibition in Regulation 1a, which relates to military and para-military technical assistance and training;
(b)Article 2(3) extends the scope of the prohibition on exports to Regulation 1a.
