Citation, commencement, application and interpretation1.

This Order which may be cited as the NHSU (Establishment and Constitution) Order 2003 shall come into force on 1st December 2003.

This Order applies to England only.
(3)
In this Order—
“the Act” means the National Health Service Act 1977;
“the PPA” means the Prescription Pricing Authority2;
“the PPA Directions” means directions to the PPA regarding NHSU dated 30th May 2002 including the Protocol for the Provision of Financial Services and Human Resources which was entered into on 30th May 2002.
