This Order designates the District of Maldon, with the exception of the entire length of the A12 trunk road within that district, as both a permitted parking area and a special parking area in accordance with Schedule 3 to the Road Traffic Act 1991. The Order applies the specified provisions of Part II of that Act, with some modifications, to the designated area. It also modifies the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 in relation to the designated area.
