Hadleigh Junior School (Change to School Session Times) Order 2004

Coming into force

Whereas the governing body of Hadleigh Junior School has, in accordance with section 4(2) of the Education Act 20021, consulted the local education authority which maintains the school and such other persons as appear to them appropriate including the parents of registered pupils at the school:

Whereas it is the opinion of the Secretary of State, having regard to the matters set out in section 1(2) of the Education Act 2002, that the implementation by the school of this project will contribute to the raising of educational standards achieved by children in England:

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon the Secretary of State by section 2 (1) of the Education Act 2002, the Secretary of State for Education and Skills hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the Hadleigh Junior School (Change to School Session Times) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 16th February 2004.

Exemption from School Sessions Regulations2

The Changing of School Session Times Regulations 19992 shall not apply to the governing body of Hadleigh Junior School, of Church Road, Hadleigh.

Time limit3

This order shall have effect until 31st December 2004.

This Order is made under section 2 of the Education Act 2002. Article 2 provides that the Changing of School Session Times (England) Regulations 1999 do not apply to the governing body of Hadleigh Junior School. Article 3 specifies that the Order shall have effect until 31st December 2004.
