The Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2004 No. 1431 (C. 57)

2.  Section 3(2)(a) to (i) of the 2001 Act (conduct prohibited without a licence) shall come into force on 24th May 2004 in the police area(1) of Hampshire.

The term “police area” has the meaning ascribed to it in section 101(1) of the Police Act 1996 (c. 16) by virtue of Schedule 1 to the Interpretation Act 1978 (c. 30).
