Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, in exercise of the powers conferred upon her by section 15 of the Social Security Act 19901 and with the consent of the Treasury, makes the following Regulations:

Title and commencement1

These Regulations may be cited as the Home Energy Efficiency Scheme (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and come into force on 15th October 2004.

Amendment of the Home Energy Efficiency Scheme (England) Regulations 20002

In regulation 4(1)(e) of the Home Energy Efficiency Scheme (England) Regulations 20002 for the figure “£14,200” substitute “£14,600”.

These Regulations amend the Home Energy Efficiency Scheme (England) Regulations 2000 (S.I.2000/1280, as amended) in regulation 4(1)(e) so as to raise the threshold of the relevant income for the purposes of the eligibility to apply for a grant for the improvement of energy efficiency in their dwellings of persons in receipt of child tax credit or working tax credit which includes a disability element from £14,200 to £14,600.
