2.—(1) The provisions specified in paragraph (2) shall come into force on 11^th October 2004.

(2) The provisions are–

(a) sections 76 to 79 of the Act;

(b) in Schedule 5 to the Act—

• paragraph 17,

• paragraph 18(a),

• paragraphs 19 to 26,

• paragraph 27(a)(ii)

• in paragraph 27(a)(iii) the words “in paragraph (b), after “99C” there is inserted “, 109B”

• paragraph 27(b),

• paragraphs 28 to 37,

• paragraphs 45 to 60, and

• paragraphs 72 to 74; and

(c) the entries in Schedule 6 to the Act relating to the Road Traffic Act 1988 (1) and the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988 (2).
