The Motor Vehicles (Driving Licences) Regulations 199951 are amended as follows.

In regulation 23(1) (persons by whom theory tests may be conducted)—
a
in paragraph (d), omit the words “England and”; and
b
after paragraph (d), insert—

in England, a person appointed by any fire and rescue authority for the purpose of testing employees of any fire and rescue authority;

in paragraph (c), omit the words “England and”; and
