The Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Commencement No. 7) Order 2004 No. 3230 (C. 141)

2.  Section 5 of the 2001 Act (offence of using unlicensed security operative) shall come into force on 13th December 2004 in the Northamptonshire police area(1).

The term “police area” has the meaning ascribed to it in section 101(1) of the Police Act 1996 (c. 16) by virtue of Schedule 1 to the Interpretation Act 1978 (c. 30).
