The Armed Forces Act 1996 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2005
Made
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 36(2) of the Armed Forces Act 19961 hereby makes the following Order:
1.
This Order may be cited as the Armed Forces Act 1996 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2005.
2.
Section 35 of and Schedule 7 to the Armed Forces Act 1996, so far as not already in force, shall come into force on 29 April 2005.

This Order brings into force those repeals in Schedule 7 to the Armed Forces Act 1996 which are not already in force. The effect is to bring into force the repeal of section 46 of the Mental Health Act 19832, section 69 of the Mental Health (Scotland) Act 19843 and Article 52 of the Mental Health (Northern Ireland) Order 19864.
