2.—(1) The Textile Products (Indications of Fibre Content) Regulations 1986(1) are amended as follows– U.K.

(a) in Part I of Schedule 2, by inserting the following entry after 28C–

28D	Polylactide	Fibre formed of linear macro-molecules having in the chain at least 85% (by mass) of lactic acid ester units derived from naturally occurring sugars, and which has a melting temperature of at least 135 °C.

(b) in Schedule 3, by inserting the following entry after 28C–
