1.—(a) This Order may be cited as the National Assembly for Wales (Transfer of Functions) Order 2005.
(1) This Order shall come into force on 1st January 2006.
(2) In this Order—
“the Act” means the Pollution Prevention and Control Act 1999(1);
“the Assembly” means the National Assembly for Wales;
“offshore” means in the territorial sea adjacent to Wales, but excluding relevant territorial waters;
“relevant territorial waters” has the meaning given by section 104(1)(a) of the Water Resources Act 1991(2).
