Provisions coming into force on 22nd July 2005
2. The following provisions of the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 (“the Act”) come into force forthwith–
(a)subsections (3) and (5) of section 2, except in so far as they relate to subsection (4) or (6) of that section;
(b)subsections (2), (4) and (5) of section 4, except in so far as they relate to subsection (3) or (7) of that section and only for the purpose of permitting a body specified in paragraph 1 or 2 of Schedule 1 to the Act to provide advice and assistance of the kind specified in subsection (1) of that section;
(c)subsection (1) of section 6, except in so far as it relates to subsection (2) or (5) of that section;
(d)section 12;
(e)subsections (1) and (3) of section 13, except in so far as they relate to subsection (2) of that section;
(f)section 15; and
(g)subsection (6) of section 17, except in so far as it relates to subsection (3) or (5) of that section.
