Amend the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) Order 200188 as follows.

In article 3(1), in the definition of “close relative”, after “spouse” (in each place) insert “or civil partner”.

In article 61(4)(c)(i), after “spouse” insert “or civil partner”.

In article 71(2)(b), after “widowers,” insert “civil partners, surviving civil partners,”.

In paragraph 2 of Part 2 of Schedule 1, after “marriage” insert “or the formation of a civil partnership”.
