SCHEDULE 6 E+W+S AMENDMENTS TO SUBORDINATE LEGISLATION RELATING TO THE ADMINISTRATION OF ESTATES

Non-Contentious Probate Rules 1987 E+W+S

2.—(1) Amend the Non-Contentious Probate Rules 1987 M1 as follows.

(2) In rule 22(1)(a), for “husband or wife” substitute “ spouse or civil partner ”.

(3) In rule 22(4), after “a spouse” insert “ or a civil partner ”.

(4) In the heading to rule 56 and in rule 56(1), after “surviving spouse” insert “ or civil partner ”.

(5) In Form 6 in Schedule 1 to the Rules, after “wife/husband” insert “ /civil partner ”.
