1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Local Authorities (Elected Mayors) (England) Regulations 2005 and shall come into force on the day that section 19(1) of the Children Act 2004(1) comes into force.
(2) These Regulations apply in relation to local authorities in England only.
