Subject to paragraph (2), in accordance with Article 51(b) second paragraph of the Council Regulation, secondary crops may be cultivated on the eligible hectares during a period of not more than three months beginning each year on 15th August.

Paragraph (1) shall not apply to the year beginning on 1st January 2005.
