Citation, commencement and interpretation
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Parks for People (England) Joint Scheme (Authorisation) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 1st January 2006.
(2) In this Order—
“the Act” means the National Lottery etc. Act 1993; and
any reference to a joint scheme is to a joint scheme falling within section 25B of the Act(1).
Authorisation of the joint scheme
2.—(1) The Secretary of State hereby authorises the Parks for People (England) joint scheme which is contained in the agreement entered into on 31st October 2005 between the New Opportunities Fund and the National Heritage Memorial Fund.
(2) The Schedule to this Order (which, pursuant to paragraph 3 of Schedule 3A to the Act, contains a brief description of the nature and purposes of the joint scheme and other particulars of the scheme) shall have effect.
