Application of Chapter 3 of the Act6
In the case of a child brought into the United Kingdom for adoption in circumstances where section 83 of the Act applies—
a
the modifications in regulations 7 to 9 apply;
b
section 36(2) and (5) (restrictions on removal) and section 39(3)(a) (partners of parents) of the Act shall not apply.
