B.2.    Persons with other pension arrangementsU.K.

This section has no associated Explanatory Memorandum

(1) [F1Except as otherwise provided in these rules,] a person is not eligible to be an active member of the Scheme in respect of his service if he belongs to the AFPS 1975 or any other occupational pension scheme in respect of that service.

(2) For the purposes of paragraph (1), a person is only taken to belong to another occupational pension scheme in respect of his service if the person who is the employer in relation to that scheme is making contributions to it in respect of that service.
