(1)
A justice may preside before he has been included on a list of approved court chairmen only if—
(a)
he is under the supervision of a justice who is on the list of approved court chairmen; and
(b)
he has completed the chairman training courses prescribed by the BTDC.
(2)
In this rule, “list of approved court chairmen” means a list kept by a Bench Training and Development Committee in accordance with rule 13 of the Justices of the Peace (Training and Appraisal) Rules 20052.
