5.—(1) Regulation 7 of the principal Regulations shall be amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) and (3).
(2) For paragraph (2) substitute the following paragraph—
“(2) Subject to paragraphs (3) and (4) grant paid under this regulation shall be such amount as the Secretary of State may determine, being not less than the amount specified in the fifth column of the table in Schedule 1 in relation to the institution, multiplied by the number of award students attending the institution during the academic year in question.”.
(3) In paragraph (4)(a) for the figure of “£1,100” there shall be substituted the figure of “£1,150”.
