Amend regulation 1(2) (interpretation) as follows.

Before the definition of “the Act” insert—
“the acquired gender” has the same meaning as it has in the Gender Recognition Act 2004 M1;

After the definition of “electronic communications”M2 insert—
“full gender recognition certificate” means a certificate issued under section 4 of the Gender Recognition Act 2004;
