pay to or in respect of the PPF Ombudsman, or a Deputy PPF Ombudsman2, such amounts by way of remuneration, compensation for loss of office, pension and allowances, or make provision for any such payments, as the Secretary of State may determine; and

reimburse the PPF Ombudsman, or a deputy PPF Ombudsman, in respect of any expenses incurred by him in the performance of his functions.
