These Regulations may be cited as the Statutory Maternity Pay (General) and Statutory Sick Pay (General) (Amendment) Regulations 2005.

With the exception of regulations 2(3) and 3(3), which shall come into force immediately before the coming into force of section 9(4) of the National Insurance Contributions and Statutory Payments Act 2004, this instrument shall come into force on 6th April 2005.
