Citation, application and interpretation
1.—(1) — This Order may be cited as the Housing Act 2004 (Commencement No. 5 and Transitional Provisions and Savings) (England) Order 2006.
(2) This Order applies in relation to England only.
(3) In this Order—
(a)“the 1985 Act” means the Housing Act 1985(1);
(b)“the 2004 Act” means the Housing Act 2004;
(c)“the first commencement date” means 6th April 2006;
(d)“the second commencement date” means 6th July 2006; and
(e)any reference to a repeal is to a repeal contained in Schedule 16 to the 2004 Act.
