58. A disclosure for the purpose of enabling or assisting an overseas regulatory authority to exercise its regulatory functions.
“Overseas regulatory authority” and “regulatory functions” have the same meaning as in section 82 of the Companies Act 1989(1).
Section 82 was amended by article 76(1) to (3) of S.I. 2001/3649 and by section 79(13) of, and by paragraph 16 of Schedule 5 to the Criminal Justice Act 1993 (c. 36).
