1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Technical Assistance Control Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on 30th July 2006.
(2) In these Regulations—
“the Regulation” means Council Regulation (EC) No 1236/2005 of 27 June 2006(1); and
“the custom and excise Acts” and “assigned matter” have the same meaning as in section 1 of the Customs and Excise Management Act 1979(2).
