Election expenses
1.—(1) Section 25(2)(a) and (5) of the Act does not have effect in relation to any election where any person has become a candidate within the meaning of section 118A of the 1983 Act(1) before 11th September 2006.
(2) In sub-paragraph (1), “election” must be construed in accordance with section 202(1) of the 1983 Act(2).
