Duty of workers17
Without prejudice to the general duties imposed upon him by the Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Health and Safety at Work) Regulations 1997, every worker while at work shall—
a
comply, in relation to the use by him of lifting equipment, with any reasonable instruction that may be given to him by his employer for the purpose of securing compliance with any of the obligations imposed upon the employer under regulations 7, 10 or 16; and
b
make full and proper use of any system of work provided for his use by his employer in compliance with regulation 10(3)(d).
