Coming into force

The Secretary of State for Education and Skills makes these Regulations in exercise of powers conferred by section 24 of, and paragraph 13 of Schedule 3 to, the Superannuation Act 19721.

In accordance with section 24(1) of that Act these Regulations are made with the consent of the Treasury2.
