2. The following provisions of the Sustainable and Secure Buildings Act 2004 shall come into force on 1st February 2006—
(a)section 2 (buildings of special historical or architectural interest);
(b)section 7 (registers of information and documents to be kept by local authorities), for the purpose only of conferring power to make regulations;
(c)section 8 (certification of work); and
(d)section 9 (appointed person and management of works).
