Enforcement
85.—(1) [F1Subject to paragraph (1A),] the local authority must enforce this Order.
[F2(1A) In relation to designated slaughterhouses, this Order is enforced by the Food Standards Agency.]
(2) The Secretary of State may direct, in relation to cases of a particular description or to particular cases, that he will enforce this Order instead.
[F3(3) Where the Secretary of State makes a direction under paragraph (2), the Secretary of State may delegate to the Director of Public Prosecutions functions in relation to the prosecution of an offence under section 73 of the Act relating to this Order.]
