Prohibition on vaccination U.K.

5.—(1) No person shall vaccinate any bird against avian influenza except where required or licensed by the Secretary of State.

(2) This prohibition does not apply to—

(a) anything done under the authority of a licence granted under article 4 of the Specified Animal Pathogens Order 1998(1); or

(b) administration of a vaccine for research purposes in accordance with an animal test certificate granted under [F1 regulation 3(2)(b) of the Veterinary Medicines Regulations 2013].
