Modification of the Finance Act 1996

35.—(1) In relation to an overseas life insurance company, the Finance Act 1996(1) shall have effect as if it were subject to the following modifications.
(2) In Schedule 9, in paragraph 12 (continuity of treatment: groups etc), in subsection (1)(d) omit “by paragraph 6(9) of Schedule 19AC to that Act”.
