Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers in section 2(5)(b) and (6) of the Health Service Commissioners Act 1993(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is ordered, as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Health Service Commissioner for England (Special Health Authorities) (Revocation) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 22nd January 2007.
2. The following Orders are revoked—
(a)the Health Service Commissioner for England (Rural Dispensing Committee) Order 1983(2);
(b)the Health Service Commissioner for England (National Blood Authority) Order 1994(3); and
(c)the Health Service Commissioner for England (Special Health Authorities) Order 2004(4).

This Order revokes the following Statutory Instruments:
(i)the Health Service Commissioner for England (Rural Dispensing Committee) Order 1983 (S.I. 1983/1115);
(ii)the Health Service Commissioner for England (National Blood Authority) Order 1994 (S.I. 1994/2954); and
(iii)the Health Service Commissioner for England (Special Health Authorities) Order 2004 (S.I. 2004/1119);
and removes the UK Transplant, Retained Organs Commission, National Blood Authority and the Rural Dispensing Committee Special Health Authorities (all of which have been abolished), from the Health Service Commissioner’s jurisdiction.
1993 c.46; section 2(5) was amended by sections 112 and 152 of, and paragraph 3(3) of Schedule 10 and Part I of Schedule 18 to, the Government of Wales Act 1998 (c.38); section 2(6) was substituted by sections 38 and 39(1) of, and paragraph 31(1) and (4) of Schedule 6 to, the Public Services Ombudsman (Wales) Act 2005 (c.10).
