Citation, commencement, extent and interpretation

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Financial Assistance Scheme (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2006 and shall come into force on the day after the day on which they are made.
(2) These Regulations extend to Northern Ireland.
(3) In these Regulations—
“the FAS Regulations” means the Financial Assistance Scheme Regulations 2005(1);
“the FAS Internal Review Regulations” means the Financial Assistance Scheme (Internal Review) Regulations 2005(2); and
“the FAS Appeals Regulations” means the Financial Assistance Scheme (Appeals) Regulations 2005(3).
